wow first time i've ever seen a setup like that!!!! You think you could find the dyno #'s for us?
man, you don't know how bad i want a 4wd, regular cab, duallie, diesel.
cool as hell. i have to ask, why a BOV on a diesel?
You guys do nice work, but not a fan of the customers choice location of the turbo.

15.2@89mph 2.171 60ft. 9.830 1/8 R.I.P. "LULU"
maybe im missing something....is the intake and exhaust going to the same pipe?

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

She's the 5.3L Fuel injected motor. Not diesel what your not the first one to think it was diesel.
Machzel - It looks like it , but there is an seperator inside of it so the exhaust is seperate from the charge pipe and since it runs down under neath the truck up to the engine bay the piping cools off the air to a safe temp.
She's boosted at 14psi and HP tuned for those if anyone was wondering. I'll see if i can find the numbers from ryan tomorrow when i get back out there.
whoops, I just saw a one-ton with a turbo and figured it was a diesel. I was wondering about the strange placement of the turbo, but it makes sense now (kind of).
thanks for making me look like an idiot, no matter how easy it is

It should be a 6.0 gas. I don't think the 5.3 was offered in the 1 ton.

its an awesome setup for sure
but id be worried that at some point someone would try to gank the turbo
Well oops, my bad on the repost. At least we got some videos now. As for the numbers put down.
10psi - 420hp
18psi - 489hp
Ryan didn't remember the Tq numbers, as it is in our work/show binders that come with us to car shows and i wasn't going to bother trying to find them today since we are swamped with work, but it was a 2" ratchet strap that broke not the mechanical part, but the strap it self and it was brand new.
Not bad.

Those numbers would go up if the turbo wasnt mounted in a dumb spot like that. You want them mounted as close to the head as possible. Its the heat energy that actually spins the turbo. Im sure hes losing power with it mounted like that. I hope that wasnt your alls choice for the location...
COMING SOON! VERY NICE!

What about the Vipers and Corvettes that mount the turbo(s) under the rear bumper? Same type of idea here (remote location.) Turbo lag is minimal and barely noticeable and we don't have the heat issues associated with mounting a big turbo in the engine bay.
