I've been toying with the idea of producing fiberglass eyelids, and including an option for different styles/shapes/designs.

Hmmm, maybe I'll make a test set tonight for 00-02's

glassed up the passenger side last night. tonight I'll trim it up and try and duplicate the driver side.

I made some small changes to the design as well.

pass. side shaved down close to final fit. still needs some surface sanding, but this is the basic shape. pretty close to perfect all around.





















I'm going to lay some primer on it today and get some pics to help show a little depth. maybe give a better idea of the cutoff lines.

I've been bored and wanted to do some fiberglass work. So figured I'd give these a shot.


Once completed, I'm going to make a 2 part mold, and reproduce these in Urethane for anyone who wants to buy them.

I'm also going to work on sets for 95-02 sunfires, as well as 95-99 cavs which will all be made into molds and reproduced.

I got primer on the pass. side last night and started final shaping the driver side. I'll have more pics up later.

pass. side primered. still a few spots to fill/sand out but pretty close to ready.

















going to spend the day matching the driver side. going to be a PITA to make them symetrical, but hoping to have them both in full primer today.

whats the plan for attachment of these? Id say 2 sided tape but that would cause issues removing he headlights and signals.
