Does anyone know or can anyone find out what size the bolt is on the passenger side that connects the muffler hanger to the muffler on a 03 sunfire with the dual exaust setup? Somehow mine worked it's way out and I lost it and now the exhaust hangs crooked and bangs around, drives me nuts hearing it.

couldnt tell you the size but I'd at least wrap a coat hanger around it for now so the pipe doesn't catch on something or bend.

try taking the other one from other side out and have buddy take u to the homedepo.

I fixed it. It's an 8mm bolt and I put a locknut on the backside as well. You can't take the bolt from the other side out because it's a totally different setup. The drivers side uses a wrap around strap hanger and the passenger side uses a flat vertical hanger that has a hole in the end of it in which you put the bolt through it and it threads into a small u shaped bracket that's welded onto the back of the muffler.
