How many people have the cavalier center filler piece that fills the liscense plate holder?
I know there's a reason to hold onto it and not sell it.

my black 97z had one on it when i bought it.
i purchased a blue one off a guy in the classifieds for $30 shipped
i purchased a brand new one from GM for $43.00 for my white 98z. it will be painted and put on in the spring.

wrong-they are not a pain to find... if you have a little extra money, go right down to your local GM dealership and order it. you will hafta pay to get it painted to match ur car though.

wow, i didnt realize it was THIS hard for ppl to find cars with them on! sh!t, just look into the "offical white j-body gallery" in the photos and media forum... i remember seeing AT LEAST 4 cars with the filler panel installed and painted.
i will try and get pics of all three of mine tomarrow.
I didnt go through a dealer, because I figured from them it would cost more than I think a piece of plastic is worth .If I knew where mine was , id give it to ya. Im never gonna use it again. Though part of me wishes i would have left my stock body kit on. Ive had a few problems with mine . Plus the person that installed it , didnt do it all that well. So now i have to use my tax refund to have things molded, touched up and im changing the back bumper. Oh Nice wheels Z yaa. Now I know what black rims will look like on my car

there not that easy to find in wisconsin since a majority didn't come with them due to needing a front plate in wisconsin.

sorry but i must disagree.
as far as i know, every single 95-99 z24 that was shipped from the factory had one on it. every GM car that can use that filler panel piece is sent directly from the factory with it installed and painted.
its when they get to the DEALERS is when they take them off for legality purposes.
i know this because i work for hertz car rental, we got a cadilac in last year-had the peice, every older grand am we got in... had there peice, as well as a few others i cant remember off the top of my head.
we get the cars directly from the factory, no dealer is involved at all.

you guys think findin one in your color is hard, try finding one in teal! i just find cant see giving the dealer 50 bux for one then have to get it painted. i had one lined up from jay, but that fell the @!#$ through.....oh well ill get one sooner or later
