... ok im not exactly new here ive been following alot of the topics but this is the first time i post anything .. but i was wondering.. how much work is involved in shaving the oem spoiler on an 00-02 non z24 cavy?.. and do you figure it would be expensive to have it done or would it be a better idea to get a new trunk lid and have it color matched to the car?

Hey steve terry here,1 crazy 4door fire, lol, , go to a body shop around your area and get a free estimate; probally cheaper for them to fill in the holes, and repaint the lid.
I am keeping my wing steve and going with a cf bezel and black cavy tails; no shaving for me; cheaper this way for me for a different look.

Yeah i have vinyl on my windshield(our club banner) and double z, and i have a tiny decal on rear windshield, and one on my rear bumper; but my rear side window decals are gone and my 16 fender decals; so she is cleaner now, lol.
Yeah i just need some 17's, and my oem skirts put on and i will be in okay shape.
Your cavy is coming along man, love that color blue, and your new mirrors rock as well; hopefully will see ya this spring ......

mmmm id say get a new trunk lid off ebay or something and repaint it. that's what i did and while i was at it shaved the keyhole also.

otherwise i would do what terry said and get an estimate on what it would cost them to fill all the holes on the top

good luck with your project
