Removing CF Bezel....

Its the same as taking off the side mouldings right? Heat gun, fishing line and Goo Gone? Correct me if i'm wrong please because I think one or both of my outer tail lights are letting water in because the seal was not properly made when i put the bezel on. Thanks.

so should i just use fishing line and just do a "sawing" motion instead and forget the heat gun? The goo gone was just to get any left over tape off.

I have a shop heat gun but I've never used it to remove emblems or stripes. IMO, a heat gun puts out a little too much heat for this sort of application. I have found that a handheld-type hair dryer set on a low heat setting works great to soften the adhesives and is a lot safer to use on my car's exterior than an industrial-type heat gun. Or you could just leave the car out in the sun for awhile.....

The heat gun i have has two settings, obviously they are low and high so i figured i could just use the low setting. I also have a hair dryer which could work. I'll have to wait till tomorrow anyway since its raining outside right now.
