Wide Body Wheel Spacers

I am interested in making a wide body kit for my '96 Sunfire. How would I go about spacing the wheels so that they're in line with the new body line? How much offset is possible with just spacers of some kind? Are there other options?

They make spacers that are like 1 inch thick and they have 5 holes and 5 studs on them. You bolt them up and then just use the other studs on the spacer for the wheels .but idk what offset u would need and stuff lol . brain isnt all here right now . but you should be able to get the spacers at a tire place they can proly order them.

depends how wide you plan to go. I'm not sure how think of spacer is safe, probably not much. You could always buy deep dish wheels with the right offset, which would probably looks best.

Your better off getting wider rims with near the same backspacing and a bigger lip. Unless your are only doing a thin spacer. Alot of people use to do "bulldoging" which is setting the rims out more. And almost everyone was tearing up their suspensions. By throwing off the mounting you put alot of pressure on your suspension, mainly bearing and hubs. Atleast just getting a rim with a deeper lip and a little less backspacing would be safer than spacers.
