MMS Lambo Strut Replacement Question

I do not have this kit yet, but am in the process of purchasing one. My only question, when and if the strut fails on this kit, do you have to take the fender back off to change it, or can it be done with out removing the fender. I have tried to look at every picture I could see and can not be sure. Thanks in advance for any information. Allen

assuming all the kits are like mine-

Have a friend hold the door up while you either unscrew the threads of the shock or pop the pin out (ive seen both) while holding the door still put the new shock in there

I got lambos about 2+ years ago when they were still "rare" and no one had them anyway my car was a daily driver for quite awhile and ive never had a shock fail on me yet.

Thank you for the reply, which kit do you have?

I emailed Joe about that exact issue. He told me that the shocks were re-designed. My personal believe the shock failure was because of the Lambo's being left in the up period for extended times. The shocks are bigger now. I do expect one to fail on me also, all shocks and struts fail with time. I'm happy to know I will not have to take the fender back off once I finish the install.
