I was wondering if there were any hoods that actually did what their shaped to do. Maybe thats a bit ambiguous, but are their Ram-air hoods that don't have faux inlets to the bay, or say other hoods that actually let hot air flow out of the compartment? CF is always functional with loss of weight, but what else is out there?

My cf ram air hood has a duct that drops the air right on the filter of my intake, sort of a mix of ram and cool air induction I guess

both hoods i had/have were functional. my ss ram air hood was. like said above it had a duct that came to the top of the intake box. basically i cut the top of the intake box, added a little mesh and put foam around it to make it seal when the hood closed and then it had air go through the hood and straight to the intake box. my extractor hood is functional and lets hot air out of the bay
