Ok well i read the stick about this the exterior stuff and there was very little help. So i ask every one who knows body work and have done it before.
I have a three piece spoiler on its way here and i want to mold it to the trunk/ 1/4 panels for that sexy flow. Now here are the questions i am seeking to answer....

1) What products do you use?
2) Is there such a think as body puddy? I know theres body filler but havn't herd of body puddy
3) were would i have to look for this product?
4) sence its on the trunk lid and 1/4 panels will i have to worry about it cracking at all? this will be my daily driver for some time so just a key factor on if i will or wont do this.

If you guys could help that would be great!

1. You want to grind the paint down to the metal on the area that you will be molding

2. Sand the spoiler down real good on the parts where you will be molding

3. Get a good panel adhesive from 3M or Fusor to bond the spoiler to the metal

4. Use a good body filler and apply a small coat over the bonded area and sand smooth

5. Then use a good finishing filler (glazing filler) and throw a thin coat over that, sand it with a finer grit to get that smooth finish

Yes, very short easy steps but take you time and prep work is key

Anytime you mold something there is a risk of cracking. How big that risk is depends on many many many different factors, from the quality of the work, how often it's driven, conditions, etc.

Blue ... they are just filler pannels ... no point to them being able to be removed unless your going to get a 03 rear bumper.

orange ... add me at msn if you have it ... dark_new_day@hotmail.com
I have questions up the butt but it would take forever to get them all answered on here.
