Hey guys, I recently had my windows tinted about 2 weeks ago. I went to roll my window down over the weekend and noticed that the tint doesn't line up at the top of the passenger side window anymore when I rolled it back up. It lines up from the bottom to about the top left corner. I called the tint shop and he said that he has encountered the same problems with other Fires and Cavis in that some of the car windows are "loose" from the factroy and shift back and forth when you roll them down. He said to roll the window down a bit and see if I can "pull the window back into place to see if it is loose. Now is he feedin my bull or is it true, he said all I have to do is get the window adjusted so that it doesn't shift anymore. I'm just thinkin he is tryin to get outta having to redo the window. Anyone else every run into this problem? Or do I have the "special" car lol.
mine does it too....i have a 97 cavi.........you may be able to adjust it but i doubt it......usually the regulator gets weak, causing the window to shift...i know, i know it sucks but what are you going to do........i just hold mine back while im rolling it up and its fine......but i have the window down all the time........
im sure he tinited it correctly ....so "NO" i dont think he feedin you a line of
cool cool.... sucks though, you think it would be fine if I had him just redo the tint with the window rolled all the way up?
