i dont know how much sense that made, but i put hood pins in my hood yesterday, or rather finished them. and i would like to be able to pull the hood off without having to undo those bolts every time. i was wondering if anyone has looked into somthing like this yet or not. i have a few ideas floating around in my head, but i wanna dig into it some more before i go spitting them out. but yes. any thoughts on the subject? the two things i want are, security that the hood wont come loose... and to that i can pull it off with ease.
Tie em to a string, run it to the dashboard, and pull a lever?

Personally, I dont see a problem at all with just taking a few seconds to just pop the caps off the pins...
He said take the hood off... not open it.
Just put two more hood pins at the back and take off the hinges. Might need some rubber to set the height properly where the hinges were, but it really shouldn't be complicated.
well i was just trying to prevent having pins up there, i am afraid it will look horrible...
