while trial fitting the blitz front bumper on my car, I noticed it didn't have a place for the bumper lights. i couldn't decide were to put them. so I just tucked them in the bumper brace( ghetto i know). then I came accross a post in here, the pics were of a cavy with amber lights in the bright light part of the headlights, BRILLIANT! so i did it too! anyway on with the pics:

i know the right turn signal is dim. i got to do some wiring there
watcha think?

naw, the fogs stay. yeah, maybe it's the camera that makes seem off. or it might the fact that my headlight bulbs are very dim. i need to change them. i noticed while doing this project, the headlight bulb glass was distorted, like they got too hot. anyway, here are some pics without flash:

how much actual modifications were needed to complete the project? and did the turn signal wiring reach already...what did you do with the remaining high beam sockets???...i just bought new projectors and im reluctant to cut into them

Piece of cake mod.
I used a 1" (I believe) paddle bit and a cordless drill. measured off where I wanted the holes. I put mine in the corners closest to the center of the car. After I drilled the hole, I put the light socket in there and traced the outline for the locking tabs, then used a dremel to cut out the slots for the tabs. Put it in, twist, and voila!!
your high beams will still be there, and yes, the wires reached.
The only problem I came across was clearance. I had to take my headlight out to remove or install the turn signal bulbs.

COGcavi, if your directions are different, please post them.

Very nice. Almost like a Grand Am headlight.

the only problem is that i have new clear headlights (black housing projectors), so do you think it would look tacky with the bulb in there?
