where to get good non bluish bulbs
Saturday, February 04, 2006 11:42 AM
So I have XD5 bulbs right now for my 04 Sunfire. They suck and I hate the look of the bluish tint to em. I have had silverstars before on another car and loved em. I know Silverstar doesnt have h11, h9, and 893. Where the hell do I go to find good "pure white" bulbs.

I'm getting so frustrated with these companies that call their bulbs pure white, or arctic white... but yet the bulb is completely blue.

Any help would be great...

Thak guys

when i had my 2000 cavy i bought some bulbs from Ice Beam X on ebay that were 5000K Super Whites and i liked em becuz they didnt show blue.. They sorta looked like normal headlights by themselves.. but once around other headlights u could tell they were white compared to yellow(esp in the dark highway when u got yellow headlights all around and then u can notice mine white coming from the opposing side of the highway) Plus they actually did light up more of the road and further down the road then my stock ones.. I didnt think i woulda noticed that but i did the first night notice my headlights seem to light up farther down the road. Here are some pics of em

I dunno if they have the bulb sizes u need but here is the ebay store.. the only problem i had with them was a bulb was shipped and it didnt work.. got ahold of them and they mailed a new one and i had it in a week..

You might try wal mart. They had silverstar bulbs for my fog lights that no one else carried.

best bulbs are Philips Visionplus, but not sure if they make the ones you need

A shipment of Luminics Ultra White bulbs just came in not too long ago. Email me at sales@showstoppertuning.com if you want, and I will see what I can do for you.

Thanks
