Have any of you guys (with a late model cavalier, ie ecotec) "cooked" your headlights? I'm kind of wary about doing it because it just seems kind of.....risky, but if it really works, then im willing to do it. I know how to do it and i know that all i need is clear silicone to seal it back up, but how long and at what heat do you "cook" them at? Also, could the heat of the engine damage any part of the headlight?
i made a mistake, i meant to say "heat of the oven, not heat of the engine." sorry about that.
pull the bulbs out. 350 deg. about 5 mins. heres mine.
IZN TRBL,
Do you have the clear lenses for 03-05 Cavaliers, its the turn signal on the side?

but dont paint the whole inside of the housing, or your lights wont be very bright. they need to reflect off the back of the housing

^^im not positive what product would work best, but i would assume any spray can would work fine. just make sure when you reseal it, it is sealed good. you dont want water and precip. getting in there. thats no fun
