Is there a way to make the trunk closr tighter? My one side sits higher then the other.

Nope, adjusting those will only make it take less effort to open and close the trunk. Instead of adjusting those, if your looking to make the trunk close 'tighter', adjust the latch on the underside of the trunk and position it upward a little bit. Moving the latch up will cause the trunk to close closer to the top of the rear bumper or 'tighter' moving the latch downward will create more space between the bottom of the trunk and the top of the rear bumper.
