I really really hate it when people do pic request threads, but I've searched a bit, and I haven't found much. So please, no flaming.

I got hit on my rear pass side a couple of months ago, and since the body shop is going to be painting that quarter, I would like to relocate my fuel door to behind my tail light, or to the piece under my tail light. I found a how to on doing the filler tube, but would like to get a better look at other cars with this mod done, before I start.

So if you have any pics of this mod, or sites with pics, could you please post them here. Thanks.

And just so this isn't a total waste of your time, here's a pic of my fuel rail all purdy and polished up. I need to go over it again with the mother's, but I like it. I washed the engine bay today (not that you can tell, it got gross again in a couple of hours). I know it needs more work (I have a whole new IDI coming, with nicer, unpainted washers), and I still have to do my manifold and more polishing, but here she is for now.

picture requests belong in the forum that they pertain to. so a picture request of the gas door belongs in exterior, whereas pictures of seats belong in the interior.

can you email me the link to the tut on the filler hose. I am going to be shaving my gas door lid in about two weeks, along with everything else on the the car and i cant figure out what to use to do it.

I need more pictures of the actual relocation. I'm leaving the welding up to the body shop, so it's not a concern of mine. I am mainly concerned with hinge placement, and securing the actual filler.

Its harder than it looks at least the way i did it but for the hinge I went to the junk yard and im pretty sure if i rember it was off of a older dodge van fuel door
