our hondas in Speedline went out there...
i couldn't justify taking a day off work to go to a honda meet...
This part of VA is JDM City
Probably the best meet I'll see in VA, size, and variety wise.
Like I said, I think beyond the emblem, any scene/any car. If they don't care for mine, @!#$ 'em, to each his own.

yet when someone else has a car modded to their taste youre the first to chime in it looks like @!#$... hypocrit?
if you go to a drop jaw show in North east NC ... you'd see the same in numbers and variety... however most are not JDM
joe: you should come to our show... July 4th in Va beach... its our 3rd annual july 4th show
do you have any plans to do the same to the side skirts and/or the rear lip?
or just sticking with the front?
looks pretty cool. ive always been into
the looks of imports. just been a chevy
driver since day one, so kinda hard to leave.

No, I just call things as I see them. I normally attack the quality of the work, versus the style. I challenge you to find otherwise. If you don't care for my lip, great, however I'll promise you it was done the most legit way possible, with minimal flaws. Sorry I've hurt your feelings in the past, I personally cannot stand hack-jobs and the half-assed work. I won't apologize for that.

RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
I like the idea, however I think it just clashes against the red of the car.

Unique for sure. I think if your car was a different colour it would look better, but to each his own. Lovin the rest of the car though, looks great.

Unique? How so?
Imports have been doing it for a long time. It looked gay then. Too me just looks like you got a front lip and couldn't afford to have it painted so you just slapped all your random ass stickers on it.
I think it looks stupid.

FORGET GIRLS GONE WILD WE HAVE GOVERNMENT SPENDING GONE WILD!
At this point you can say that some of your friends pranked you but sticking @!#$ on your front lip.
I thought it was a joke at first, seriously. Working hard and spending a lot of cash to get the cleanest ride around ( and yes I loved it ) and finish it off by slapping mulitcolored stickers on a random part of the car. Wierd. lol Two weeks and they're gone.
Honestly if you don't like it, great, but your opinion isn't going to sway me in the least bit. Will it be a permanent fixture on my car? Nope, already have a spare to have repainted along with my front bumper repair. This current one was heavily abused and rock chip. As I said, it's a front lip, easily detachable and replaced. Will I remove it because some member's from j-body.org hate it? Never.
Matt's car is a prime example of how boring the Cobalt community is. I liked my OEM look, but park that piece next to everyone of them and wow, a @!#$ Cobalt.

Red sucks for anything, unless you like to black everything out which is more trendy then putting sticker's on a lip.
not a fan on such a clean car but it's not my ride!
props for being different.
Well, I am glad I didn't black everything out!

here's a thought...
how about doing all of the same stickers but in red or clear? that way you cant seem them in pics or far away but then close up you are unique... ermm.. well, unique for a 4th generation cavalier.
180hp in 1989 or 145hp in 2002, you decide. >
Thought was to coat the whole lip with a translucent red eventually time providing, but not too concerned at this point.
My 4th generation Cavalier probably won't stick around forever, already on the fence about some things and debating it's future if it has one.
