This is the best update yet!! ALL of the metal work is done and i test it the entire car today this week final body work on the shell then of or primer!!!

well a little more progress. The rear 1/4s are all finished with final filler over them. ready. the glass gets pulled tommorow so then the shell will be in primer by the weekend. i also put the drag radials on stock rally rims as i will be using the pro stars on the street

here is how they look with the new 1/4. they are TIGHT i have to put the car on jack stands lower the rear end put the tires on and jack emback into place

And we have a feeling that my Holley 750HP carb was too small. soo i bought a proform 850CFM center section and a 850CFM qwick fuel base plate. this + the race gas should wake the car up

well i did not take pics but the car is fully disassembled again and primer gets sprayed tommorow.

then on sunday some green goes in teh door jams trunk jam and edging all the parts

well here are pics as of 20 minutes ago.....shell fully stripped ready for primer tommorow as are all the other parts then monday all the jams and edges get painted. Tues the glass goes back in and re assembly begins!!! i cannot wait

ok my paint came in so now i am starting to get excited!!

the pic is dark its lighter and VERY metallic in person i cannot wait to have it on the car and out in the sun!!

It was put in primer last night i will go get some pictures tonight. All of the parts will be getting edges green tonight and the glass goes back in tommorow

Looking good......cant wait for the final outcome.

Tonight i installed the new trunk rubber, new door rubbers and re installed the doors ad the trunklid for the final time the glass guy also game ad put in the windsheild and rear glass.

the work looks great! i'll reserve final judgment on the color until it's all together. how happy are you that it's finally all coming together? i can't wait for that feeling when my jeep is at this stage.

everything looked good til i saw the passenger side door latch had been sprayed while still in the door.

I really hope it's the lighting making me see so many dark spots, blotches and streaks. Would be a shame for the painter to not be up to par with the type of paint and quality of car...
