i am gone from this forum
nah i havn't found one that i wouldn't have to pay out my ass for lol. i found one at a junk yard and almost @!#$ myself then i notice some @!#$ dropped the car on the front engd and destoryed the bumper i was freakin pissed. Think im goin to stick with the front i have now and just get tsi twisted sides. More pics will be posted tonight.
picks from today. Got the drivers side brakes on and torqued down:

then the stock rim on:

Then went on to the pass. side. 1 hour and a 10lb hammer later i got the rotor and the god damn wheel bearing off. after about 15 mins of slamming the hammer off the rotor i deicided that the bearing was @!#$ anyways so i'll take them off together... took me 45 mins of slamming the hammer off the rotor to even get the wheel bearing out lol:

^ thats suppost to be flush lol
came inside then and did some more work on the head. Finished getting the headgasket crap off the head:

Then i finished removing the "step" inside the exhaust ports. this way theres a nice smooth and larger opening for the exhuast gases to enter the port.

Everything removed. was a bit rust in there:

and the new backing plate installed:
well since the guy sent it to me in peices i had to reassemble the parking brakes. Well i had no idea how it went so i sat and staired at it. deicided to take it back off and do it in the basement were its warmer. So with a picture i found on the internet and a bunch of parts i got this:
ordered a bunch of stuff this weekend. hopfully this will all come in soon. more pics later on
nice van. damn youve done a lot of work on this eclipse. is there a date set for its completion?
it'll never be complete lol
not yet the auctions on till tuesday but the price is really climbing on it
well since they cut my @!#$ hours again i have lots of time on my hands. Got the drivers side rear disks installed:

and the pass side tire back on:

And since the sun deicided to show today, the snow started to melt, becuase the snow melted it @!#$ flooded in my tent!!!! so i cant get under the car to install the parking brakes:

im god damn pissed off. next pay check i get im not dealing with this @!#$ anymore. after that i took the portioning valve off and cleaned that out good since when i removed the fluid cup it had a bunch of snotty looking green @!#$ in the bottom.
then i came in and started work again on the intake. got most of it done. all i have to do is smooth out the top insides and then port match the outsides. this is a finished port. you can tell the difference between them:
