Thought this was kind of funny.

I realize it wouldn't be all that hard to pull a semi on a flat surface but, still kinda imprezzive.
Was that Yellow Nylon rope they were using as a tow strap? Couldn't off been that much tension if a little rope like that held up.
no its not impressive... its IMPREZA IVE! LOL

somehow i don't think that truck was THAT stuck.
prolly just caught in a small rut that it just couldn't get out of.. sometimes all you need is that tiny bit of pull to free yourself from snow. I've pushed cars out of snow with my bare hands while they were spinning the tires...
but I'm sure the internet will make this some kind of earth-shaking testament to the power of subaru.. when any kind of AWD or 4WD vehicle weighing roughly the same could have done the same exact thing.

Semi driver needs to learn how to drive, there's no way he was that stuck.
I dont think the truck was that stuck either....plus the truck only had one set of drive axles....not like he could lock in his tandem drive axles. But yes its interesting seeing a subaru do that, but i agree if the truck was stuck fairly well he wouldnt have been able to do that....

Pretty much looks more like it was used as a winch to aid the truck driving itself out.
Cool looking video but not impressive by any means.

A 3500 lbs vehicle is not moving a 25,000lbs one if it was truly stuck, sorry. Welcome to the real world.

I'll take "the internez r seriouz bidness" for $500 Alex.
Yeah I was not impressed at all, it didn't look like the car even did anything but take the slack up on the rope.

I said it was imprezzive for the luls. I know it wouldn't be that hard but, a cavy couldn't do it.

meh.

Trailer Queen corvette wanna-be with 40 coats of wax and powdercoating that soaks in.
with all the guys standing around watching and waiting behind the truck they could have all got behind the truck and start pushing. Also getting unstuck isn't impressive, however when you actually get something really stuck you'll have people getting a good laugh and wonder how you made it that far in the first place. Impressive is like getting a semi stuck in a snow drift and having another semi trying to pull you out backwards and you both end up stuck.
Pretty cool stuff ........ wonder how the tranny on the STI looks after that! lol
