This list has GOT to be BS. Nobody is so damn dumb to trade in a real deal GNX. At best it was a Regal Turbo with badges.

Some of these are obvious frauds. I mean some of the cars up there get a hell of a lot better than 18mpg, others are way too rare to be traded in for a measly 4500$
its completely fake. post the source.
aston martin, 350z, porsche, rx-7, 06 sts, for god sakes there's a maserati on the list. there's no way this list is real.

Complete crap. Not believing it. Someone is dicking with us

cobra kit car and gnx
Yeah I don't believe half that list. A lot of them got better than 18mpg anyway.....
I'd like to find out how 4 cavaliers are on that list, if they supposedly all got , <18mpg

"As submitted, not necessarily reviewed or approved" <-- Yeah, BS.
Just from passing by an overflow lot for a local Honda dealer, you know what I pretty much saw in it for CFCs? Just SUVs. Pretty much your average large Tahoe's Suburban's Yukon's, Expedition's, Explorer's, Cherokee's, Grand Cherokee's, etc. I still think that CFC's was stupid and anyone who traded in their cars for it was retarded.

it's not how fast you go, it's how you get there that counts.

How is a corolla on the list of traded in vehicles....this list is bs

Not unintentionally accelerating since 2009!!!!
Bah, it doesn't matter. Most of those Mustangs and Camaros and Firebirds are going to end up either as racecars or as "rebodies" *wink* *wink* where a good VIN tag is taken off a rusted out shell and put on the good body of the donor car.
Still, it was a bogus program to subsidize foreign carmakers. Even the tree huggers were complaining about it.
has the government picked up any of the cars yet? they're still sitting on the car lots they were traded into in my area.

Why do you say the program was to subsidize foreign carmakers? Just because 60% of cars sold were foreign doesnt mean the program was meant to subsidize foreign carmakers. It was meant to help the big three.

If the market didn't want domestic or, let me rephrase: the market bought more foreign then domestic nameplates, that does not means the program "subsidize foreign car makers."
Besides the majority of the foreign bought are made in N-A. And domestics manufacturers are reporting the bring back of workers and others with more shifts.

Back in the 80's the Biturbo was known as the car you gave to your wife in the divorce settlement. It had an exotic nameplate and was known as a very fast car, so it looked good on paper. When she drove it though...
That thing needed a mechanic with a 24 hour 1-800 number,
Still, sad to see so many RWD cars go. The Maserati had nothing wrong that a 350 chevy couldn't fix.
