In my 06 I have been noticing that after I let the car sit for a few hours in my driveway, or anywhere that there is a slight slant, its hard to get it into gear. I have to pull back petty hard on the shifter.
Is that normal? Sure doesn't seem like it. I am about to get the transmission fluid changed on it today, just hit 55k miles so need to get it done.
This only happens on a slanted parking space. Another thing, when I put it in park and let off the brake, if there's an incline the car will kinda move 1 to 2 feet. Never had a car do that before either.
sounds like you've got a problem with your parking pin. try using the e-brake

it's not how fast you go, it's how you get there that counts.
ZZP XP cam, 1.6 rockers, 105# springs, speedbuilt FWI, 3.3" modular pulley, TOG headers,

When you park, put the e-brake on, THEN put it in park. When you restart it, put the car in reverse first, then take the e-brake off.
