I had a lot of fun and learned a ton about cars in general since I started working on my 03 Cavalier, everything from aligning a body kit, building up a full custom exhaust, fiber-glassing and smoothing out interior plastic parts, to custom built HID projector setups. I am now moving on and while I still have the J, it will be getting sold shortly.
Just purchased my 06 G35x with 25k miles, Obsidian Black and already had tinted windows. I love the looks of the car and AWD will be a plus for my Minnesota weather. I will be modding the car tastefully since I am now working a real job and not just in college. My plans are to start by doing a Quad projector retrofit and painting the housings black to go with the car. I will probably not be adding any to the sound system, unless someday down the road I decide to put in a touchscreen navigation system since that is the only option the car didn't have, the stock Bose system sounds great. Second project includes changing out all of the surface mount leds for gauges/buttons inside to blue and white.

It is an auto, wife does not know how to drive a stick, and is 100% opposed to learning and she thinks that for some reason she may need to drive the car.

those cars sound so sexy though when you get on it.

i hear you, they have a completely different thought process then men. my girl is the same way.
Thank god my girl wasn't hesitant to learn stick......the only auto cars I've had plated and drove that were auto were the caprice and the Dakota st.

since I wrecked my G5, I've had to drive an auto everywhere until I get my car back, and it's torture!! Such a lack of things going on, it's just not something you're used to lol...
I'm glad my girl was willing to learn stick though... or she wouldn't be driving my car... especially since I bought it before I met her lol...
