Bad water pump-sounds like?

I've had this squeeking sound going on with my truck for a few weeks now. I figured it was the tensioner pulley because it'd go away as the truck warmed up. Also, it'd go away immediately with belt dressing.

I replaced the tensioner pulley today and it still makes the sound. My dad thinks it sounds like the water pump is about to go out. The sound still goes away after the truck is warmed up. There's no play on the fan.

Truck is a 2000 Dodge Dakota. Trying to sell it, so if it's a water pump going bad I want to get it fixed ASAP.

The sound is most comparable to crickets.

My only other thought is that spraying all that belt dressing on there and letting the belt squeek like it was prematurely wore out the belt..it's less than 1K miles old, but that seems far fetched.

Spray WD-40 on the bearings of all the pullies. If you spray one and the sound stops, thats your problem.
