I just recently purchased a 1992 Camaro RS w/ 305 tbi. I only gave $800, so granted, there are gonna be some problems. The only problem I am concerned with right now is, it will not idle well at all. I have to keep pumping the gas. My wifes grandmother ran into this problem with her '92 caprice(same engine). We replaced the IAC and it ran perfect after that. Silmilar problem on my camaro so I replaced it. No change. I got it to idle for a couple of minutes and it was very rough and fluxuated alot. I'm no mechanic, obviously, so any help would be appreciated. Its obviously a fuel problem. Thats all I can tell you. LOL
plugs? wires? coils? fuel injector cleaner?
all fairly cheap and easy to do. give them a shot.
