saw this 1970 Pontiac at Wright Patterson AFB over by the hobby shop unsure as to if its Leman, GTO, or Judge
Car has hole in decklid for the spoiler but that doesn't mean someone couldnt have optioned for the spoiler
there are no emblems and the vin doesn't make since form what I tried to decode for a 70
I read it as
2D37724167977

I retract my previous statement I did some further looking its a 72 based on the vin I though 70 from the hood on it since that is a 68-70 hood
2 = Pontiac
D = Lemans
37 = 2 dr hardtop
T (not 7) = 400-4 barrel 230hp
2 = 72
A (not 4) = Atlanta,GA
Serial = 167977 (I think the last 2 are 77 , I took the pics a few months ago)
Yeah the Hood isn't factory.

looking at the fitment i would say it is a whiteboy hood
its a little rough , but a few hours waxing and itll be good as new
I would go deeper... Check the build tags on it & see if it was one of the "Optioned" GTOs they built in '72 (LeMans got the GTO trim as a option package, IIRC).
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
