Nice. My dad has a '86 300zx non-turbo, 5speed and that thing is a blast when it runs right (electrical issues). Should be fun with the turbo, too bad about the automatic though (unless you prefer it).

Well this car is actually one of the first 300ZX, which weren't introduced until '84. Datsun was started in 1933, so I can only assume that's what the 50th anniversary refers to. I thought maybe it could have been the 50th of the Z-car in general, but those were started in '69.

I had looked at an 87 300zx with a 5-spd, but it was also no turbo, and had about 215k miles on it. The hell of the thing is, it was more expensive than this one!

There are a lot better options for go fast rwd cars. A lot better options - even if you want to stay Jap.
I mean that thing looks nice and all, but if you're looking for something fun I recommend looking elsewhere.
I had a friend that had a 300z of the same style, it was the 3.0 with a 5 speed and that thing was a dog. My Beretta in mostly stock form would walk it in the 1/4 mile. Then the dog got bit by electrical issues and it became even worse until it eventually caught on fire while he was driving it.
