You wold be no different if you had a rich mom/dad and they offered to buy you one as your first car . . .

Also, they are pretty damn fast.

I agree though with you. Every other guy I see driving an Evo I swear, doesn't look a day over 15, LOL. I have never seen someone who look like they are 30+ older driving one. Its all kids.

I still want one though

Funny you say that. There is an old guy at my work, has a striking resemblance to a dwarf, he drives an Evo. He's in his early 40's maybe late 30's.

Well this is going to turn into a flame war but.... oh well.

Sure mom's and daddy's buy their kids cars.I won't lie my parents bought me my first car.A 1994 ford escort LX.I then made payments every week to them out of my paycheck.I worked an entire summer to pay for it.

I don't think their the fastest thing around.I want one for many reasons. They have a massive aftermarket, tun ability, and i just think their dead sexy. Then if i need to i can take it to get groceries.

If i ever got one it would be out of my own pocket, earned by my hard work.Something that won't be happening until after i go to college, and get a good job....prolly be in my 30's

what you said there is totally different, sure your parents bought you your first car, but you paid them back for it, what the other guy is talkin about is these rich ass high school kids that just get the car for free and never have to pay for anything and just act like it's the best thing in the world and just act all high and mighty becuase of it... same thing when i was still in high school, some rich kids dad bought him a celica gt-s tsunami edition.. it's just idiot kids like that that he was talkin about

Fully understandable. My highschool parking lot was and still is the same way.Kids driving car that are nicer and new than most of the car teachers are driving.Kids with trucks that have chrome 20's,mustangs and camaros, wrx's to stealths.Jeeps and trucks jacked up to the sky, everything given to them by their parent's.

When or if i have kids.I want to instill the values that my parents have given my, like you work hard and reap the rewards.Don't just have it given to you. It's 1000x better when you earn it.My dad always said that he would give me whatever i wanted,so long as i have earned it, and he did... even time when i didn't earn it.

Ok end of my rant.Ya just got me thinking back to highschool when i would take a look at the cars that are given tto kids.

Some one needs to make a better wing for the sedan. It reminds me of a kid wearing a fake mustache. If only they offered a wing delete option.

The sedan is pretty nice, all it needs is lowered and take that wing off and most of you would probably like it..

the sedan wouldn't be bad if it had a rear lip and ditched the spoiler

idk to me it just looks like its missing a rear lip

I like the sedan, I'd definitely rock one in black.

I had something really funny to put here but it was too long.

The wing on the Yellow car is pretty sharp, just not my style. In fact, the SS Sedan should look just like that.

Waaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than the stock POS.

I wish for a 17 inch wheel option.

(and the 2.0 turbo eco has LOTS of un tappable power, EXTREMELY easy to let loose.
It's not a "live axle", it's a torque-beam, and it's higher performance than a rear MacPherson (like N-body IRS) is.

Defending a torsion beam is just.... Ridiculous!
IRS maximizes your contact to the road surface as it works independently, which in return give more grip at the limit, which in return gives you better a time at the time trials. As we all know road courses are never flat.
So far this set up turned to be competitive as it is almost maximized, but by having IRS it would have been better.... A LOT better.
Bingo. AND to be honest, the price is more then fair.. I mean up here Si Civics go for 31 to 35k @ any dealership. AND I remember Cobalts going for the same price (SS/SC), so really I am not complaining on the price of this car in anyway, just the lovely beam it has in the back, for a few hundred dollers more, GM could have upped the rear into a Decent IRS setup.
Remember, GM's FWD cars w/ IRS use a Chapman setup:

Why go from good handling to poor handling?

yeah the spoiler is a little tall for me , but it is a improvement over the stock flat thing

another good option as much as i hate rk is their 3 piece spoiler , which i do like

I understand, but maybe GM should change/ add a new type of IRS suspension to the lineup then .

I find it strikingly similar to the tall wing RKSport makes for the Sunfire. Tha rear bumper vanance needs to be made standard on the SS...like yesterday.
