The Accord does look better (they made a HUGE improvement from the last body style, but the Camry is downright Fugly.
Too bad it is only the "most shopped for", that doesn't bring $$$ in. It does represent quite an improvement for GM's marketing department however.

I'll take the time to point out that the Camry has been re-classed as a full-size sedan, according to C&D.
I believe the same applies for the Accord.
The new Malibu is quite nice, but I'll wait for a used one at half the price in two years.

camry is ugly as sin and the quality isnt far behind....
The accord is very nice, I will agree there. The biggest thing the accord needs is a sports model.

I also agree that the new malibu is actually PRETTY DAMN DECENT!!! I'm actually a little shocked at how good it turned out.
As for the accord, i dont know what honda was thinking on the last gen, but this new one i like A LOT . I think it looks fantastic, and the coupe looks gorgeous.
As for the camry, I don't know what toyota was smoking. i think it looks HORRIBLE, and when I drove one, it felt as cheap as my cavalier.

We have been seeing this engineering since 2005 on the G6 and Malibu MAXX, then again in 2007 with the Aura, now rebadges the Aura. Aura got some recogniton, but the Malibu is the Messiah. (?)
No argument it is competitive on paper, but execution on the interior materials and fitment is famailiar GM cheapness. Sorry but sharp edges and gaps doesn't make it desirable.
Heh, look what good advertisement does to a product.

Bingo.
Kudos to their marketing division ... somebody came home to a new attachment to their house.
While I am overly impressed with the Malibu in comparison to their cars of the past, seeing fit and finish issues with the showroom model wasnt inspiring.
I think it is good to have alot of people looking at the car. It is probably people who would like to have bought a Malibu before, but found it was bested by it's competition, and so people are going to the showrooms to see if the new one is as much improved as it is made out to be. Maybe in a few years when they are looking to buy again, they will be back. Either way, it's great for GM to have people looking and talking about the car, instead of a new car launch going completely unnoticed.
