I've been wanting a Cobalt SS for a while now, and have the Cavy paid down pretty well and have been looking around. Originally after seeing the SS/TC I fell in love and wanted to wait for it to come out, and buy it brand new. Well after looking around a little and finding some good deals on SS/SC I've kind of been leaning that way. The SS/TC look like it will run about 24 for what I want, but i found an SS/SC that had the same exact options minus the LSD and recaros for 13K. It has 30K miles on it and is fresh off of a lease. Black, 5 spd, sunroof, black leather with red inserts, everything I was gonna get on the new car. So I guess I'm asking opinions on if I should wait, or if I should just go for the SS/SC I drove my friends Stage 2 SS/SC and loved it. I'm just torn I guess.. Help!
Wait......

ss/sc's come without recaros?

Getting "better built" for the '08...
I want to wait and have the SS/TC but paying 10K more for a car that is hard to tune and nearly maxed out on the tranny seems less and less appealing. I could have the SS/SC for less than 14K with stage 2 and a few other performance goodies..

Yeah, they are the leather seats with inserts, the recaros are the all black, more of a racing seat.

G85 packaged versions did, LSD too.
If the turbocharged version is worth 11 grand more to you, then wait, however I'd pick up the SS/SC, stage it and enjoy having some extra money each month to do other modding/live if desired.

I think I may be leaning towards this..
It looks pretty clean..except I hate the rims..but those can be changed out pretty easily..
id go for it.....but yea, dump the wheels
i cant imagine justifying 11g's for a turbo over a SC
I loved driving my buddy's SS/SC, I honestly would consider one now that pricing is going WAY down.
I've seen a few around here, low mileage near the 13k mark also.
Unfortunately I did not get to drive it w/ stage 2 before he had sold it, but he can get a killer discount on it through his work.

The onyl reason i would consider it is because it would be new..and I know it hasn't been beat on it's entire life...I'm just waiting for the clutch to go out after 10K miles
