Here are pictures of my brother 66 Mustang. Its still dirty but it was nice out this past saturday in Chicago
so my bro pulled it out and we took some pictures. It has a brand new front suspension, full exhaust and two new front tires.
It has a V8 289 and in the pics you can see the headers and intake.

Actually it has a hurst shifter 4 speed. The stats were when it came off the line back in 1966.

Thats the exact year I want to build, 66 hardtop with a 4 speed 289
dont care much which vin code for the engine it is, horsepower is easy to make on these cars
