It was done to the guys car on purpose first of all. Second it is a pristine FD3S Turbo RX7 man I would be pissed too. He did a great job of tracking him down on his own and ended up coming out on top which rarely happens in any accident or vandalism . Its a good story dammit. lol

Cliff notes....
Nice RX7 got hit... eye witnesses said it was backed into once, the guy pulled forward and floored it back into it again on purpose pushing it up into another car. Hopelessly driving around trying to find the truck that matched the description they actually found and the guy ran. After a couple week of some DIY detective work he found out who did and started getting pics and all kinds of stuff for evidence. It ended up being a friend of his x-best friend. He went to the police with everything he found, the police looked into it. The guy didn't answer the door when the cops showed up and he didn't answer when the cops called so they put the case as inactive and called it a day. After some more detective work tracked down where the truck was registered to (the kids parents house) and called up the kids dad to asking to meet him in person to talk about it blah blah blah. Met with the guys dad, went over all the stuff with him, lied to him telling him he was gonna get charged with a felonies and was looking at state jail time etc.. The guys dad was freaking out asked how much the damage was and said he would fix it, he showed the guys dad an overinflated estimate for $3500 and told him thats what he paid out of pocket, to get it fixed. By the end of the conversation his car was already fixed by insurance the kids dad cut him a check for $5,000 to forget about and make it go away.

Thanks darkstars, it is a good read for sure and written very well. The whole thing is found on page 1 and page 15 thats it. Not that long of a read considering I posted what pages the whole thing can be found on in my first post. But cliffnotes are good enough for the lazy ones lol.
