New Car.... On 22s....
Monday, August 20, 2007 3:01 PM
I don't post up so much on here anymore, but the older people will remember me... I hope! I decided it was time for a new car a few months ago. I still have the Cavalier, but I haven't driven it in about 3 months. I will be selling it soon hopefully.
Here is my new ride, hope you all like it! I know I do! The only future mods to it will be Eibach springs (ordered already), trunk lip spoiler (sort of liek the M3 and M5 spoilers) and possibly a black wood dash kit.
All questions, comments and criticism welcome of cource....

And a few of my bike, been posted before though:

I'm not feeling those rims whatsoever.
they're way too sporty for a 300c. too damn big, and the black finish doesn't match the the paint.

Not bad at all. The 5 spoke rims don't suit the car IMHO, but, they'd look better if they were a lighter shade anthracite. 300's scream for multi-spoke rims or ones with more style.

Looks pretty good though, better when lowered.

SiLvEr StRiPeY 04: I love the little silver one! I keep it infront of the shifter! Everyone loves it when they get in.

OHV notec: Thank you! I still have the car, its sitting without a front bumper or sides right now, but the car is sitll with me. Hopefully not for long, but I do appreciate the kind words!

Ec0tec2 : I debated getting a simple lip kit, and there are MANY of them out there, but I think I'm jsut dropping it and calling it done. I always said my next car Id buy and not put a kit on ebcause Id buy something I loved as it was. Trying to stick to that, but we'll see how long that actually lasts...

Joe Schulte:The bike actually started life as a silver r6. I didnt like the silver so much, so now its BMW M3 Steel Grey. But everyone thinks its a Raven from pics! That blue one is hot! are the rims color matched? I almost bought a blue one and color matched the wheels, but I just couldn't see myself in a navy blue car for some reason. Looks crazy bagged, but I defiantly want to keep the super smooth ride quality that it has now, and that my old car NEVER had! MY buddy drives a 300 on 22s lowered 1.6, drives jsut liek mine did stock, so im going with the same setup, not too low, but not a 4x4 either!

big poppa: gangsta eh! I always said id get a big car!

Sip: Like I said to Joe, I agree, they look CRAZY slammed. Im going with a mild drop to maintain ride quality. But Id love to slam it to the ground

gtpsunfire: Wendys at Younge and Steeles?

urban: I agree, they are a little sporty, but in my opinion classy and simple looking as well. Ive always loved a basic 5 star, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion, you'd probably liek my buddies wheels. He has a white 300 on black TIS with a pilishe lip. They're much less sporty, I'll see if I can get a pic of them together

StrippedCav98 (Now Quotable): 24s fit, but you cant really lower it at all. with the amount that it woudl have raised it to run 24s it NEED to be lowered. As well, I think 24s just look way too big for the car. Some people love em though, I think 22s suit it perfectly! If you liek huge wheels though, theres a guy on the 300 message boards that has 26s, way too big IMO but he likes em!

GAM (The Kilted One): I think they look better in person then in the pics, but liek I said above I'm gonna see if I can get a pic of my buddies car too, definatly the opposite of my wheels Id say

Sticki: Thanks bro! Hows the Bimmer?

97cavie24ls(™): Yup, 22s on a v6. I'm not looking for speed cause I have a bike for that and the gas milage is pretty much the same with or without the 22s.

WHITECAVY: thanks! good to finally have a car that cops dont hassle and is big enough to just relax and enjoy!

To everyone else, thank you for the kind words! Keep the comments comming!!!

eh 26s are too big for that car. certain trucks it looks good on but 26s on a car doesnt flow right. i saw this pic of the 300 on 24s and thought it was perfect for the car

as much as you dont want it, a vertical grill would really set it off

Shows how close I looked, just passed it as a Raven like you had said many do. Still a very sexy bike!

Yep those wheels are color matched, I absolutely love his car and he daily drives it with no complaints about comfort, but I understand just doing a static drop.
