the classic car i'm purchasing in the next month...

she'll be stripped down, derustified, and any blemishes will be fixed next year. she still runs - remanufactured motor only has like 30k on it. the carb needs a rebuild, but i'm tempted to just yank and sell the motor.

that, or i'm making my fishtank out of the housings.

this was what my grandfather and I used to cruise around in but was sold when he passed away. 1965 Chevy Corvair corsa convertable it was a 140 horse 4 spd factory air tripple black car

^^^Damn nice cars!!!
I ALWAYS wanted a 65-69 Corvair. One day... just one day.
And I have a soft spot for the Vega since my father had a 1976 model and sold it still in mint shape in 1995.
(Sigh) Now I wish he passed it to me and I would have put a nice GMPP crate V8 in it. That car had the same layout as the Camaro/Firebird---torque arm and all.
