I suggest we pick a slower night to have this faceoff

Reason 1. Price! 40 to race
Reason 2. # of runs... from my experience you only get a couple runs in
Reason 3. Goes off #2 in that if we want matchups its going to be WAY harder with import wars going on.

Ryne only needs to get an accurate potential car count, and access to the short staging lanes.

Car/bike clubs have run their events during GLD IW events. Just takes a bit of planning.

To keep it simple Ryne... Perhaps Chicago Style, with two classes. The cars you allow to run with the NA bunch, and a class for the rest.

2-3 Q sessions, and the top four race in elims.

I can help, and let Jake drive my car in Q8, and against Sun Cavi.

Should I get to help, the NA racers go right back to staging, hoods down, trunks down, doors closed, and windows open. Anyone leaking A/C fluids gets an ass whooping by the track personnel....lol

For those that haven't been to Union Grove there's a Real Street Drag race on Friday night (no tree) ala Pinks style, a nitrous brawl on Saturday ( think 10.5 outlaw cars) , and Import Wars on Sunday.

You could camp at the track, there's plenty of room.

I do not understand this? Why couldn't i pop my hood to check things out, or even cool off the engine bay a little? What if I want to put something in my trunk? I have never heard this before so that is why I'm asking. If it is to speed things up well there is ways to do that without controlling everything the driver can and can't do.

As I've posted numerous times....I average 10 runs per IW event, and that's with car counts over 100. I'll make this work if we get a good number of cars.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.

I'm not sure how I wanna do the racing yet but I like the idea of round robin races. Everyone needs to have a shot at everyone else to prove their ability. No reason for someone to be knocked out of something like this because of one bad run.

Gets guys running faster. Don't have to wait for people to close up everything and suit/buckle up. Keeps @!#$ moving and helps get more runs in.

Well if anyone still wants to come to this even though there's a bash being planned now let me know. Otherwise I'll just let this die off and consider it a good try.

having this meet and the bash is bound to hurt the attendance of one of them....

the bash was canceled last time because of lack of interest and bad planning wasnt it? I cant wait to go to this meet, but it would suck to see the bash discontinued cause of 2 consecutive years of a bad show out...

thoughts?
