hi, im a new guy on here.....not driving Jbody car but im driving 2002 Ford Focus fully loaded and a 5 speed....
sorry to join like that but i've been always interested in performance of sunfire, cavaliers ect.......basicly cars that are in the same class as i am.....
so my car is a 4 door sedan, has Zetec engine (130bhp, that what the book says), 204000 on the engine right now.........car is really slow when its stock...and when i say slow....its like high 17's or 18's second car
got a couple mods on it so right now im at 125whp and 129tq
last time i ran it at the track it did 15.9 @86.....and i know so of u run the with stock engine......
here are the mods that i have done so far
Volant with Cold Air setup, FC 65mm TB, Ported early 2000 intake manifold, SVT snorkel, OBX 4-2-1 header, 2.25" Truebenz flex pipe, MBRP catback, FC UDP kit, MAC rear engine mount, APC 9.3mm wires, Platinum sparks, Cosmo short shifter, FS strut bar, 17" ST200 sitting on Wanli's 205/40, shorty antenna, clear corners, euro upper&lower grills, SVT pedals,KW springs, KYB AGX struts/shocks
with the current suspension i defenetly wanna get into autoX cuz it just handles like on rails
also have Xcalibrator2 (ecu tunning) and ordered some Ford Racing stage 3 cams ,Ford Racing springs and retainers ,Focus Power cam gears.....its all gonna be installed in the near future and get dyno tuned.....
so im on here just to learn and maybe give my personal opinion on whatever
here are some photo' of my car
some more
...sorry i love to whore my car in every way
some local meet
reping it up
at the track
at the dyno (Da Silva Racing)

in front of Da Silva Racing

No doubt.
Props on that alone, don't mind some people's @!#$ on here. Clean Focus. My buddy has an '05 sedan with the 155hp? 2.3l in it, 5 speed. Quicker than I had expected! Not a bad car at all.
A friend of mine had focus svt I liked it alot. glad to have you here.
Travis C: not miles but its 204000 KM....so im guessing around 126000 miles......only synthetic oil since i get a sweet deal on it
Joe Schulte : yea those are ST....newer focus...with a different engine....im puttin down whp just what those cars put down stock...around there pretty much
JUCNBST : if i could afford one i'd get one for autoX and stuff like that.....those cars are mad fun......but pricy..
im really glad im getting a warm welcome from you guys
now i have a quastin off topic....i know alot of you guys put this GM super charger on(like Admital Jedi has in his signiture).....its like a basic S/C model,,,,i think it also goes on Cobalts SS S/C......how expensive is it? and it looks like a pretty easy install...can it go on every Ecotec engine, like 2.2 and 2.4?...correct me if im wrong......im just learning your cars

guess you didnt look at the license plate in the pics
I like the color...is that some kind of parking ticket or something under your wiper blade (in the pic with the mustangs sporting rousch plastic)?
it was just a paper for the dyno....u gotta tell em what mods u have blablabla
You need the SVT treatment on the outside.
I have an 05 Ford Focus. Good little car for a beater.
Welcome to the Jbody community. Nice to have another Ford Guy, here's my list.
05 Ford Focus
03 Ford F-150
00 Ford Mustang
99 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor
99 Ford F-250
98 Mercury Grand Marquis
92 Ford F-250
90 Ford F-350
I love me some Fords....
does it come stock with sway bars?
my friend and i put some on his focus and that thing was a dream, i'm sure all focus's handle well tho...
i don't recall if he had em stock or not....(too long ago)
we dropped him on the svt springs, and then he wanted lower of course, so we then put on sprints? i think....
i like focuses, especially when its got 4 doors
.
4 door love!!
that car was totalled 1 month ago, i picked up a new one..haha
