i just got my car two weeks ago and last night somebody went head on with me!!!! i was driving a black 97 sunfire, 5 speed with black rims....im soo pissed...

sooo last night around 8:30 i was driving on frederica goin toward jeff's work from my house... i had juss turned on to frederica from 7th street and i was almost to the intersection of 9th and frederica and the light turned yellow... i knew that their was no way i would beable to stop so i continued to drive. out of nowhere this car that was in the turning lane on frederica facing the river turned in front of me going toward west 9th street... i knew that there was no way i was goin to miss her and i tried to hit my brake but it wasn't workin cause i didn't have the clutch in so i closed my eyes... the next thing i no is that i get hit real hard in the face and i feel the car sliding... i through the E brake on and opened my eyes... i couldn't breathe or see anything cause of all the powder off the airbags... i set their until this man came running over to me and asked me if i was ok and iwas like my neck and face hurt real bad... i asked him to open my door cause of the smoke. then i looked in the passenger set and all my stuff the was in the sit was now on the floor and the stuff that was in the backseat had been thrown into the front seat... i had been goin 35mph when i hit her.....i then took my seatbelt off and tried to get out of my car... i had a women and a man help me get out... as soon as i got out of the car i started cryin and shakin so they made me lay on the ground in the road and they held my neck still.... i had firemen their first and they put a neck brace on me and put me on a strecher... i keep askin someone to run to my house and get my parents cause i live 1 block away from the wreck....they keep askin me the same questions over and over again.. i don't even no what kind of car i hit all i no is that she lives out of town and she just got her car 2 days ago. they put me in an ambulance and i went to the hospital... their they took a bunch of Xrays and i got a shot in my hip for pain.. they said that the reason my neck hurt was cause when i hit i had my head up so the air bag hit my in the throat to... i had chemical burn on my face, neck and arms. when i was released i went into the waiting room all jeff's friends where waiting for me... that was the best feelin i ever had just to no that they cared that much... but i went home and went to bed... this morning im sore on my joints and my chest and im light headed!!!!

on the other note it is good to see ya are ok for the most part. sucks about the car? Did their insurance cover what happened?

not really if you think about it. its obvious to me and i guess to adam g that the girl is ok for the most part or she wouldn't be posting this now would she??

ouch ! glad you're alright. you gotta watch out when the lights turning yellow. people that were waiting to turn sometimes have a hard time judging who's stopping right away and who's goin through. i've had some close calls.

all cars should be surrounded by rubber and be able to bounce off of everything.

well either way it could be her fault or the gurl turning right from the sound of it. You are supposed to yeild @ a yellow no matter what. and it's common sense to yeild when turning and there is a car coming. or then again they could look at it liek britt was drivign too fast or faild to yeild to a yellow but glad ur ok. it's sucks to be in an accident.

Accidents are no fun at all! Glad to hear you came out of it OK.

The insurance company will actually determine it's both of their faults - that way they get more money out of everyone.

my eyes are bleeding from reading big red text. anyways.... i'm glad you're okay. I totaled my cavy 2 months after I got it. It happens to the best of us. just keep your head up.

wrecking new cars sucks, i know firsthand. bummer. good your alright though, that's all that matters.

I had my previous cavy for 4 days before I was rear-ended by a friggin mack truck. Although my old one which was a 2000 coupe, looked nicer, had full body kit and motegi dp12 rims, i like having power locks and windows on my 1996 Z24 a bit better =)
