Hey guys i am new to the forum. I have had my 1996 Z24 Cav for a while now and have decided to try some fun and inexpensive things to spice it up. If anyone has any suggestions for a starter project i would really appreciate it.
shave the badges is cheap cause it is free... good start umm not cheap but looks sexy and best mod imo u can do to a car is lower it...
Well the usual response is header,intake,exhaust but also 2.3HO intake manifold swap, lower the car,B&M ShiftPlus or upgrade clutch,lightweight pullies,nitrous,turbo,supercharger,etc;etc;etc;

hey thanks guys, my buddy said to shave the badges he used a hair dryer to heat it up applied alcohol then used fishing line to get underneath and pull it off. sound right?
shave the badges and moldings- free
clear corners and clear bumper lenses- $30-$40
clear hvac knobs- free
paint some interior stuff- $5-$10
mesh on front bumper- $5 or a little more
there's a couple ideas... not sure if you were looking for exterior ideas or performance or what. good luck with the car.
Check out my build thread!
hey guys, thanks for the tips. I am going to shave the badges this weekend. I actually put some mesh on the front yesterday. The clear lenses sound great, I hate the ugly yellow corners haha.
How inexpensive is "inexpensive"?
1989 Z24 Convertible - Dust Covered
2006 tC - Dust Covered, but driven more
right now all i have to spend is like $200.
