Engine for 1996 Cavalier base

Hi,
I dont know were to post this (im new) but ill just put it out here.

I have a 1996 cavalier base model and i want to put a new engine in it.
What other types of chev engines fit the best in it?

unless you feel liek a trans and wiring swap, go with the same engine you have.
