Been through every phase on the car, I think this one takes the cake for sure though!

Didn't explore any options with the 00-02. Not really a fan of how the headlights look or the stock front bumper. Didn't provide me with the lines I was looking for. I was unsure of the new hood/front bumper combo, even while I was painting it. I was sure it would look good, but wasn't sure how much I'd like it. When everything came together I was thrown back 8 years, back to my 96z which started this addiction with J-Bodies. It's odd that I've pretty much come full circle with the cosmetics. I can say that this is me. This is my car. The blue car didn't "fit" me persay. It was too much "flash" and not enough "punch". I knew where I was going to go with the 01 when I bought it, I just never expected it to end up looking like my 96. Let's hope she doesn't decide to start acting like that car lol.

Take care of the car and the car will take care of you. Keep making the power!

There was no taking care of that old LD9 I had. I had nothing but bad luck with that thing. Everytime I turned around and got done fixing one thing something else would go. This is where my dislike of the LD9 stems. Most don't even know I owned one, but I did, put an m45 on a pre2k before hpt was an option. Used a fmu and msd to get it as closed to tuned as I could. Ran pretty solid after the m45 was on there. Eventually I just got sick of fixing stuff and went to the L61, which was my 04. I salvaged what I could from the 96, mostly suspension parts, sold everything else off. You know the story of the 04, and now I've got the 01. A little more backround on the 96...it was white with a oem style c/f hood, which earned me my name...Skunk. One of my friends one day said hey it kinda looks like a skunk...and the name has stuck for close to 10 years.

Was bored tonight so thought I might edit a picture I took of the Cavalier before the start of the summer. Rather then making a new thread for one pic I thought I would just add it to this one.
Still a big work in progress... but its white(well mostly)
Still gotta get the front end painted white.. and the front rims painted black.
