Spent a good solid afternoon working on the car again... this time with some awesome progress..
Again, crap cell phone pics... but it at least captures the progress.
Cleaned up the fuel injector wiring and cam sensor wiring. Dry fit worked out well.
Idler pulley is mounted and EVAP lines have been extended and cleaned up.
I'm not going to mount the S/C until I upgrade the battery wiring to the starter.
I'm re-doing the upper S/C bracket... not feeling the blue metalic look. So it will be blasted again and remain just clear coated.
Cleaned up all the 6x9 and trunk lid lighting wiring.
I'm going to convert the trunk light switch and power to the trunk lighting to a manual hidden switch with LED accent lights and strobes so I can turn them on at night shows.
The subs are inverted since the magnet is damn! close to the rear cross member. I was thinking about trimming, but I'm going to give this a shot for now. They're not mounted, but i'm going to keep my eye on them, and if they bug me, I'll change it up.
If you're curious to what the heck is going on in-between the rear tv's.... it's a vinyl insert to give it a contrast. With the way Im going to be wrapping the seats, this insert will compliment the seats for contrast.
I'll get cleaned up pics tomorrow.. as I'm going to be sketching out the battery tray delete, and mounting the door panels.
Then back to the vinyl detailer to contract out the job for April... and get in contact with a source to wrap the seats, head liner and rear deck.
More updates by tomorrow I'm sure.

ya ya ya lol....
As requested, upgraded from a cell phone 2mp to a 3.1 Kodak... this is the best I have haha.
oh... and the P/s door panel is in.
lots of fun hacking and slashing to get this bad boy in due to the 8" sub location.
Don't worry about the waffle guards being cock eye'd. they're just temporarly screwed in for fitment.
And the subs won't be inverted because I don't want wiring close to the driver and passengers leg.
I'm also looking at painting the blue on the 8" subs to black... so they don't stand out as much.
These pictures really don't do the paint job much justice.. either does the pink panther background. lol
Tomorrow will be the D/s... then back to the rear quarter panels and ripping out the seats in preparation to be wrapped and to have more room to work on the dash.
I've got in contact with the NOS bottle source... and hopefully I'll be able to pick them up this weekend. Can't beat brand new 10lb bottles for 100 bucks CDN with shut off valve.
Until tomorrow.
Don't be shy... post up your comments!!!

- are words you can't use to describe your work Matt! giddy up I wanna see it complete!
like i have said before car looks awesome.
Cars coming together nice Matt. Look forward to seeing it completed.
what did you do with your old door panels I liked those better
how many amplifiers will you be running in total?
i like the ideas but i think the screens being more hidden would be better.
having their frames buttons and what not exposed cheapens the overall look for me.
Just a thought.

you can see them hanging on the wall in the back ground.
The old ones need some TLC.. yes I like them too, but they just wont fit the theme of the car. I'll be selling them in due time.
Amps will include:
Bold is what I have currently.
Deck Fronts - 5-1/4""
Deck Rear - 2x 6x9"
Sub output: 1 mono --> 1x 12" 2 Ohms LP 75hz
Sub output: 1 mono --> 1x 12" 2 Ohms LP 75hz
Sub output: Front output: 2ch -->
2x 8" 2 Ohms LP 85hz
Sub output: Rear outout: 2ch -->
2x 8" 2 Ohms LP 85hz
Front output: 2ch -->
2 x 6.5" xover 1.75 tweed
Rear output: 2ch -->
2 x 6.5" xover 1.75" tweed
Boxes will be sealed at above hz except the 8"s since they are free mounted.
0/1 wiring
Optima red top
high output alternator
12 farad stinger cap
The cap has 4 remote inputs for all video, lighting, compressors etc.
Remote switches will be manual, so I can turn off all of the above.

new door panels look good. ive never been a fan of flipping the speakers over myself. well okay maybe 10 years ago when i first saw it done. but i think it just looks cleaner the other way. that would likely be a problem for your doors without some major door panel cutting, but i think the deck would look a little more cleaner with the flipped the normal way. other then that its looking nice. makes me think i should break down and redo my interior again.

ah i miss my blower
but the car looks great man, i am glad you are giving her a good home
wow those door panels and rear deck look awesome. I'm glad your not leaving the door subs inverted cause it looks like an obstruction instead of blending in. So the handle area was cut out to be painted? Was the armrest cut out as well when it got covered in vinyl?
Put a back seat facing towards the TV's and puta a bigger LCD screen, a gaming console and that would be DOPE! That would be the seat to sit in.
GMR has got nothing on this
I hope to be back at the car this week... we've been snow struck with about 3 ft of snow in the past 2 days, so I haven't made the trip over to work on the car for the past couple of days.
But I was lucky enough to pick up the latest of mods for the car.
3 10lb NOS bottles that I will be using as air tanks. This is where the stainless braided lines will come in play, with some LED accent lighting to let the chrome valves stand out.
These will be blasted and painted again, and I have new stickers on the way.
I'm thinking of painting them flat black...or re-paint them the anodized blue... not too sure yet.
They were just brought in from the car, so they're a bit frosty.
And of course, one of them still had some fun left over in them...
awesome idea matt using those as air tanks!!
I say do them matte black
Awesome matt! glad to see the progress coming along nicely!
Are you sure those arent 15lb tanks? They look taller than my 10lbs.
tanks look good man! if you head to the garage tonight park over in front of the attached garage snow is a a little deep

Weight of Gas 10.0
Weight of Cylinder 13
These are Torpedo style tanks..
Jay... I had the same questions asked about my set up.. kids would walk over and say WHOOAAA he's got NAWWS haha.
This time I think they will just assume I do now.
Now Im on the look out at building or buying brackets for them.
im def liking where this is going
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
