unfortunately yes. there is no room whatsoever in the trunk. 2 compressors, air tank, 3 amps, 1 sub, kinda hard to squeeze a battery in there too.
instead of in the engine bay, see if something like this is possible to hide it? this was on a car i worked on a while back, don't remember what kind of car tho.. thinking new crossfire or sebring

^ good idea, but theres just no room to do something like that alongside the frame rail.
updates will be this week, its done and ready for paint, just been busy with other stuff.
and a teaser, theres gunna be some CF in the engine bay
hey steve I know that dodge stratus' have the battery there
ya but my amps are huge, i bet i could get it in there, but i hate clutter.
Utilizing the spare tire well? If not plenty of room under once removed!

or mount battery under the rear of the car w/ the posts showing in the floor of the trunk.

where'd you get that idea chris? lmao
But yeah you could always get a enclosed box wayde, I got the idea from seeing a truck have his battery under his bed. Just have a box that bolts up into the underneath of the underbody of the car.. then you can run and make post or terminal connections in the trunk if you want easy access for audio equipment.
Something
like so
run some heavy guage wire from battery to the post jumper, then you can mount your audio post terminals to that in the trunk.

ah shiiiit. you know where i got the idea. haha.

hmm, that might be a good idea...somewhere under the trunk. Right now my f/g box takes up the whole spare tire well, which consists a 12' sub, and a monster RF amp. Then I have my air tank mounted upside down under the rear deck. then on either side of the spare tire well are two huge RF amps, and two compressors. Believe me, there is no room. haha
how about stinger batteries?
I believed I measured out the spot on passenger side. next to the frame rail. under that little "cubby" spot in the trunk to the side behind the taillight. anyway I think my standard optima battery was able to fit there.. cant remember 100% tho.
also look into braile batteries!
thats what we have planned is make a battery box and cut the square out of the trunk floor and recess the box in the square we cut out and weld her in, insulate it and dump the battery in the box, then with the fake floor all you see is the top posts
not fooling me...that's a 2.4 motor
can find a drycell battery, you can mount them upside down if you wanted to, so mounting options increase greatly, they're also a lot smaller and lighter.
you can fit the battery in the spare tire well it u modify it a little ive gor 2 subs 3 amps 2 compressors air tank and a full custom box and if i wanted to i could put my battery back there check into it
enough of this nonsense lol we need pics and updates lol
like i said earlier, my FG box takes up the whole spare tire well and then some. and as i stated before, i HATE clutter.
i think the battery will look just fine in the engine bay.....but we will see what happens once i paint it lol
make a recessed box in the trunk with a false door to keep it in place. . . just do it Wayde. we all know you can.
