I haven't posted a thread in a while, so this is how the car looks as of late..I got rid of my sportlines for stock suspension, and how I miss the look, I love the ride of stockers.
I also painted my wheels with gloss black rustoleum, I wanted to go bronze, but never found the right shade, so I just settled for black for now..I'm pretty pleased with the look..I'll keep looking for broze over winter..I hope to find a dark bronze in a rattle can!
After that I scanned ebay and got a $7 Cobra CB, I work at a truck stop, and live near a major interstate, Plus I have always thought they were cool, so I hooked it up, and believe it or not, Its saved me several times as far as state hwy patrol shooting radar/laser..Truckers almost always give heads up about bears, down to the mile marker, and side of the road they're pointed at..It rules..
Lastly, I scored a full Thule roof set up for $20 off craigslist...I could easily flip it and easily get $150-$200 out of it on ebay, but I'm keeping this sucker..In the pics, its just mocked up for fit, gonna get a fairing (wind deflector) and a snowboard and bike mounts, and get it on for real in the next week or two...I'm really excited to NOT stuff my bike in the back seat/trunk anymore
Heres a few pics I snapped today, just camera phone pics, so nothing special..Keep in mind, this is a $200 car I have been driving for exactly 2 years now, with only basic maintenance and a tune up
