I made the same mistake the first time I painted them, it turned out really hazy.
Get some Krylon crystal clear. it's much better.
But have them professionally cleared, if you could.

hmmmm, those are the exact corners I have sitting around.
Once it warms up I will swap them out and see if I like it.
I wonder what it would look like with a stock hood, and painted headlights to match.
Would look a lot better with headlights to match.
