ok i will keep that in mind... major things im looking at right now tho looks like I need a whole new head light harness. Im gonna check with brian if hes got one laying around that i could pick up. otherwise im gonna go to als and get one
me and wrench monkey are currently working on the engine harness.... I will upload pics later as ive been taking pics of the tear down and figuring out whats what. we are right now workin on the fuse/relay box right now

emspro is sounding really good to me, spectre sold the emspro to efisource.com, and the bad ass 4cyl. mustang thats sponsored by them is a local and hopefully ill get ahold of him for some help. only thing im curious about is how to run the factory gauges with using the emspro, or if should loose the factory gauges all together for a full autometer setup which is what i think you are doing right curt?

going 1 step better instead of a full Autometer gauge layout.
I discovered this for the main gauge display and then use autometer gauges for the things I cant get with this

and heres the pics of starting progress and a video of us setting off a passanger air bag for @!#$s and giggles while we took a break
heres the beginning of the tear down of the spare wire harness i picked up from a member on the org
starting to tag and mark off what the computer connects to for easy identification
harness all tagged off
all the sensor, ignition, and alternator connectors
tom aka wrench monkey unpinning the a/c wires from the relay/fuse box
starting to lay out the wires in the engine bay to form a new harness
here is the tps, coolant temp, kr, and the cps wires so far
dash taken apart and pulling the dash harness out
dash completely stripped of the harness and the new spectre harness layed in there
harness that was pulled from the dash
and finally the harness ran thru the fire wall
and heres the lil video of the air bag going off..... video doesnt do justice for the sound as it sounds like a shot gun going off. it echoed thru the whole block
another thing we found out is that the WHOLE car needs to be re-wired.
so were going to run our own harness setup for the lights, wipers, hvac and what not.
only thing we gotta figure out at this point is how to wire the ignition in which is got us confused at this point
otherwise we just gotta improvise on the wiring in the alternator and starter and finish up the electrical for the engine to start the car.

thanks guys... not gonna be much progress during the week as im waiting for the junk yard to open tomorrow so i can get a different pair of shift cables. Im also waiting for a weather pack connector so i can make the wiring easy to break down and make it more like factory having a connection block right at the grommit at the firewall.
this is getting exciting as im interested in the amount of weight that will be shaved off in wiring

I would have some but my partner never came to help. had plans for sunday but got cancelled due to something he had planned with the gf. then he was more concerned yesterday on his day off to get his gfs tire plugged. I may have to start doing work myself so it gets rolling faster as I got huber to attend in a couple weeks and wont be home till i either get house arrest or off of huber in 7 1/2 months
well I got the dash harness broken down. I just cut all of the connectors off and saved the wire. later we will just build a new one as most of the stuff in the car will be removed so a lot of the wire is un-needed
Refresh my memory lol, are you doing a complete 2000+ wiring harness upgrade?

agreed on the spec being garbage as well but to each their own
