honestly man, IMO shawns car didnt whip your's... i dont care if he spent 50,000 on the paint. its still un-original. yours is the original, and IMO whips his any day of the week.
if your doing the spoiler just because his looks good with it and you like it w/o the spoiler i say do what you like.

Since I owned my silver 02.. always have liked how it looked with the avenger rear. then after when I first saw the spoiler on shawn's car. that just made me to bust myself to get the shave job done. that Ive been putting it off for months. even before extending the swing arm.. I always felt the spoiler is what its needed. then now.. I think it looks better with the spoiler on too. may even mold it onto the trunk. can anyone photoshop it for me? please!

sorry guys, after seeing this car so long without one even with you posting the pics it just does not look good in my eyes. your building it for you. just because you put a spoiler on it does not mean i wont like the car it will just away one piece of cleanliness that i see in it. the car looks so smooth and clean layed out without a spoiler. but your car. do what looks and feels good to you.

Either way man. Car is sexy. I share your opinion w/ the hood though, to balance the car you need something in the rear. Had the same issue w/ my 04 when I had the rk ram-air. Looked good spoilerless but seemed like it was missing something, I also opted for the 00-02 Z spoiler. Balanced the car beautifully. I say go get a boneyard trunklid, I think that was mentioned, and mold this spoiler to it as to make all one piece that way if you don't like it you can always go back to the other one.
Always looking hot though.

Seriously I took 30+ minutes at your comparison pictures and be assured spoiler or not your car will still be awesome.
I voted for NO spoiler yesterday but today I feel the other way....How about just a snap-on spoiler. lol

Hor had this chop done and I changed a bit on it. I really like it! I was thinking about the ls sport rear too< Ill see about that after the 03-05 spoiler!
