Well I wont be on this at all for the next week and a bit since I will be in Florida. Once I get back Im gonna start fabbing up my charge pipes and the cooling system. I might still go with a Griffin rad, so that might have to wait till that comes in, but I will decide this week and if I decide to go that route, I will order one when I get back home, so that shouldnt take too long to get to me.
I will take pics along the way.

Shoulda paid attention when we spoke, the plan was always to use the 3800,but it was gonna stay supercharged, those plans changed aswell as you see.

And yeah, everything will be cleaned up. This is just the mockup motor right now. Once all the charge pipes, coolant hoses, exhaust and all the little stuff is done, this one comes out, the frame, mounts and pipes go for powdercoating, the turbo and manifold goes for ceramic coating and are getting wrapped. The engine bay will be cleaned and painted at the same time.

I only briefly thought about going with the 3.5 to be honest. After more research, it just wasnt worth it.
I would have needed a custom 1-of flywheel, custom 1-of aluminum oil pan with oil filter housing integrated into it, remake my 3800 frame, remake my 3800 mounts, cut and section the pass side frame rail to clear the belt tensioner, etc etc etc. Plus I would have needed to find someone that could unlock and play with the Caddy PCM. It just wasnt worth it.

My 3400 Swap Page

Just figured I would give an update. I picked up all my silicone couplers and piping. I will getting my intercooler saturday so I am gonna start making my charge pipes next week. I will take pics as I go.

Well, here are the updates as of recently. I havent done much work on it because I went away and it has been soooo freaking cold here since I got back, plus work has been killing me.
Here are a couple things I recently picked up.
Summit performance Wideband O2. The thing I love about this is that its pretty much an Innovative Wideband with a different gauge, and a pricetag thats $100 cheaper.

As you can see here, all Innovative parts and hardware.

and see, I'm not sure whats gayer, the panelling, the "walking away the Pounds" DVD, or the cute little kitty.

Nice touch with the tissue waiting to clean up the mess! HAHAHA!
