Well, DTP came up for a couple days to help me get this thing running again, this time with a neat little air accessory I have only had sitting forever..
of cource we took pictures along the way...
Tuesday night, we didnt get much done, but i did take pics of the new plates that came in the mail
Yesterday morning... Paul starts working, while I slack off and take pictures
got wheels?
new injectors in place
that little nub? yeah its gotta go...
I have WAAAAY to much fun grinding things..
if anyone wonders.. cam tower bolts from DTPs car work great for remounting your alternator on a eco s/c setup... (yeah we have to make a junkyard trip now)
getting later, and getting closer
one must use the right tools for the job... here you can see both
told you it was getting late... paul was capturing the power that resides between my legs in this photo...
1:30am... that is is in there! I threw my intake pipe on just to make sure it still fit...
were off to the junkyard to pick up a few things... more progress later

Nice

Those 18's look familiar. I love the fact that they're still around, wow. I rocked those at the '04 bash thinking back.
love every bit of it!

was a great time! just so everyone knows...IT RUNS NOW!!!
Just a few things to do...like install that wideband he impulse bought thanks to me and my big mouth asking "do you guys carry widebands?" at summit....BAD IDEA
couple small things to tie together though, and the car will run fine once you can get ahold of backstreet performance
was a blast man, can't wait to see it assembled as much as everyone else....I almost felt privlidged to be workin on it
paul ya couldnt wait for me to make this post huh?
he left her at around midnight... I think he must have made that post before he even put his stuff away... LOL
All joking aside a big thanks goes out to paul and all the people he called at the we hours of the night and day to help get this thing on, and as paul said it starts now... I do have a couple things to work out yet.. but I should have no problems getting it to the bash.
We did spend most of the day hunting around for some things, not to mention a quick trip to summit to get all of the items you see here...
(and for the record, i went there to pick up a boost guage... oops)
for those of you that didnt know, summit now sells a rebranded wideband made by innovative, its a really great buy for the price...
more goodies
then when we got home we discovered the mail man had left this for me....
and last but not least, a short vid of the car

Are you talking about the black thing? That's a water pump, i assume for his intercooler that comes with the kit.
I didn't notice the huge extra rad in the first few pics. This thing should be wicked. What's the GM numbers for what this should put down with the intercooler?
- Paul
^^lol yea, thats what I was talking about hehe.. Thanks.

its technically called a "heat exchanger"...but functions the same way as an intercooler to the coolant. The pump is not the one in the kit, but essentially it does the same thing.
sorry andy for buttin in

Not only did I post before I unpacked...I didn't even bother unloading the car....I'm about to go do that now

in·ter·cool·er –noun any device for cooling a fluid between successive heating processes, esp. for cooling a gas between successive compressions.
Same thing
Wondering how bad the heat soak would be on something like that? Anyone know where i could find power numbers for this kit?
- Paul
i think we need to make molds of that lip kit please o please o please.
