dont want to tell you how to do something but make sure there is no extra wire that made its way into the pipe that will be deadly to the turbo and motor take your time no one will die if time is taken

^^^^^^ Scott tackled cutting and tacking the passenger side and I did the driver's side. I just finished welding all the pipes shut and I have Adam grinding down my welds to search for any little pin holes there might be. I was careful to make sure no wire went through in the center of the pipe since there is no way to check, I'm going to be shoving a heavy wire brush through just in case.
I talked to phil about the oil feed and it looks easy enough since Adam brought the correct fitting with him. That is why I ad Adam pull the intake manifold. I woke up at 7am yesterday to prepair for the install and only get around 4 hours of sleep last night.. so I am taking a little nap. When Adam wakes me I will be dropping the oil pan and clocking the center section.
I hate to say it but the problems with the turbo manifold are totally true. The T3 flange needs to be over to the left about 2" and the wastegate flange should stick just straight up instead of being on an arm and hung to the side.
Asside from all the troubles the manifold has made, my steel cutting table saw bit blew up, I had to make a T3 gasket from 1/16" aluminum, we had to convince the firewall to move back a little bit, had to get some sensors for MS at the junkyard and my mig welder skipped town on me. We had to tack the charge pipes with a stick arc until a loaner mig came in from a friend of mine.

I have had some very good help with this project mainly from Scott (baby lenko) who I had never met until yesteday and Randy (randeazy). Tyler (Ryoko-bird) made a guest appearance today and mounted the intercooler and my cousin Justin (on the ord but rarely posts) stopped by to stand around and look pretty. My friend Floyd has been around helping out and Terry (Jackalope) stopped by today to show some love too. RC came by too and she tried to touch me while I was sleeping (you would have to be hear.)

We have an awesome group of people hanging around the garage so pleeeeease feel free to stop by anybody... Cause I'm a fire man.. a fire man... robbed a jewlery store-told me make me a grill!

I woke him up...he's taking a shower and we'll be back to work. I finished grinding down the welds also.

We'll keep everyone posted but this is gonna be an all nighter without a doubt.

Peace, love and wish us luck.

Josh that wasn't Kim it was Floyd. Since you were sleeping and he couldn't find any 13 year old girls and Kim wasn't around he HAD to feel somebody up or his day wouldn't be complete. Odd thing is that if he thinks you look like a 13 year old girl what kind of girls has he been chaseing ? (shrug) Adam it was nice meeting you and poking you with that stick was loads of fun for all . Anyway dude guess what just came out yesterday for sale ? The GM superchager kit ! Wooo Hooo ! You should have waited. But it's only been released and they have none available just yet.

So you guys any closer to getting done ?

so i'm hoping if the manifold was that crappy that you guys fabbed up a support bracket so that all the weight of the turbo isn't riding on it.... Wish I coulda been there to lend a hand but work is too crazy right now, looks pretty damn good though
